Eddie Wiley

Eddie Wiley is a lawyer who was called to the bar on June 26, 2019. He was a summer student with Hillier & Hillier Law Firm in 2016. He attended Dalhousie Law School, Schulich School of Law from 2015 – 2018, where he was placed on the Dean’s list every year for high academic standing. He won a variety of awards while at Dalhousie Law School such as: the O’Hara Criminal Law prize for attaining the highest academic standing in the first year Criminal Law class in 2016, the Blakes’ Business Associations Law prize for attaining the highest academic standing in Business Law in 2017, and the Cox and Palmer Corporate Tax prize for attaining the highest academic standing in Corporate Tax Law in 2018. Eddie then articled at a prominent criminal law firm in Downtown, Toronto, where he assisted lead counsel in numerous criminal trials matters.

To date, he has argued various contested motions in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. His main interests and practice areas include but are not limited to the following areas: product liability litigation, medical malpractice litigation, MVA’s, tavern liability, commercial litigation, disputing administrative decisions and wrongful death suits.
